Sometime, back around 1968, Mom and Dad gave me a Cox P-51 control line airplane. This was the spark that ignited a life long hobby for me. This photo isn't the actual model, my photos of it are long gone, but this is the exact airplane I had. I'll never forget the smell of that glo-fuel, and the fun of learning to fly that rocket-ship. Looking back, it wasn't a good choice for a trainer, but several repair parts later, I was flying it regularly.
